Booking + Planning
Reach out to me with your information! Let’s start off by making sure I am available for your wedding date. Once we know I am still available, you will receive my bridal pricing guide with all of the details you need to know about investing in your wedding day photography & video needs. After you look through these details with your fiance, I’d love to treat you both to a coffee date. If you live out of town, a Skype coffee date works just fine! This is a great time to get to know each other and make sure we ‘click’ and also talk through the logistics of your actual wedding day. I love helping my couples plan their wedding day timeline because this will have a direct impact with how your wedding photos turn out - think sunlight for as many photos as possible and a dreamy sunset session with as husband and wife! If you decide to move forward with booking, I will send you a proposal and after the contract is signed and deposit paid, we’ll officially be official & you can check one more thing off of your list of wedding planning to-do’s! YAY! After you are booked, we will begin planning all of the fun details for your engagement session! Also, you will also receive the one-of-a-kind Lyndsay Lyon Engagement Session Style Guide with several pages of helpful information: what to wear, how to prepare for your session and more - Let the fun begin!
2. Engagement Session
This will be an unforgettable day for you lovebirds! For the engagement session, we will work together to choose the perfect locations and we will have 1 - 2 hours to shoot depending on which package you pick. The Engagement Session Style Guide will include tips and tricks on how to style the most visually aesthetic photo session. It’s going to be fun! Your only job during our session is to love each other—I will coach you through posing for the entire shoot, so no worrying about that! This is a time for us to get to know one another, get comfortable working together and allow you to spend time together in front of the camera stress-free!
3. Final skype chat/phone call
As your wedding day fast approaches, I will be available to you to help with anything and everything you need—vendor recommendations, wedding day timeline preparation, planning suggestions and more. I want to help make your wedding day as stress free as possible and want you to know I will do everything on the day of your wedding to make it easy going and the absolute best day of your life! When we are just a few weeks out, we will plan a Skype chat to finalize your wedding day timeline and answer last-minute questions and calm nerves. This last phone call or Skype chat up to a few days before your wedding to finalize the details will be key in creating the most amazingly carefree wedding day. We will discuss specifics in detail to make sure each piece of the puzzle comes together perfectly.
4. Wedding Day
Your wedding day is here! All the planning, coordinating & booking vendors has all come down to this one day & it is marvelous! My goal on your wedding day is to love and serve you and your fiance to the very best of my ability. I vow to make your wedding day as stress-free, fun and memorable as possible. I will do my best to keep everything moving on schedule as close as possible. I will be there from beginning to end so I can capture each and every precious moment for you to enjoy for years to come!
5. Gallery Delivery
You can expect to receive your Sneak Peek Gallery within two weeks following your wedding day. Your beautifully displayed online gallery is where you will be able to download, share and print any and all of the high-resolution digital files. You can even make your own favorites list to have your favorites all in one place and make it a much easier experience! You can make as many prints as you’d like and share online or in person however you please! Your photos are backed up for 2 years online, so your gallery won’t disappear on you and you will be able to download them for personal backup at any time. The remaining gallery will be delivered in as little as 6 weeks following your big day. Amount of delivered images vary, but on average, about 50-80 photos per hour are included in your gallery. I am so excited to work with you on your big day!
